In order to comply with the 5 required meal components of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP)
We will no longer be selling water during lunch, effective immediately. Milk is one of the five components, as opposed to dairy, which is NOT a component. While we cannot make children DRINK the milk, they will be required to take it, as dictated by the NSLP.

Picture packages that were ordered earlier this month will be going home with your student Wednesday, October 31!!!

Picture Retake Day is- THURSDAY, November 8th!

Students who already bought a picture package but were nto happy can return the entire package on Retake Day and have their photo taken again.

Students absent on picture day will have their picture taken. If you need another order form, please stop by the front desk.

New students will have their picture taken. Order forms will be sent home in their backpacks. If you do not receive one, please stop by the front office to pick one up!

We will be holding our Scholastic Book Fair in the library from Friday, November 2nd through Thursday, November 8th. The hours for parent and student shopping will be 7am to 2pm. It will also be open at 5:30pm on Monday, November 5th, before the PTO meeting. It will remain open for about 30 minutes after the meeting.
The Scholastic Book Fair is a great opportunity to add books to your home library or purchase books to donate to your child’s classroom, and the school library earns money to fill its shelves. Teachers’ classroom wishlists will be available so that books can be purchased as gifts for their classrooms.
Fliers listing some of the books that will be available will be going home with the students. Books may also be purchased now until November 9th through our Online Book Fair.

Student orders placed online will be delivered to the school, with no shipping charges. Cash and credit cards will be the only forms of payment accepted.

Our Fall Festival is this Saturday, September 15th from 10:00am – 3:00pm. Pre-sales prices are $12 for one wristband and $10 for each additional wristband. This price is good through Wednesday. Starting on Thursday prices go up to $15 per wristband. The wristband provides you access to all bounce houses, games, and either popcorn or popsicle. We will have premium games like Bingo, Pie in the Face, and a Dunking Booth. These will be sold for $1 each.

We will also be selling lunch combos for $5 that includes grass-fed hamburger or hot dog plus chips and juice. We will also have fresh baked goodies to sell.

Tickets can be purchased during afternoon carpool on Tuesday, ASP on Tuesday and Wednesday and in the mornings at the school store. You can access online ticket sales here. http://kcsmapto.wordpress.com/fall-festival/ We will not be able to replace your wristband if you lose it.

Roger Day the musician behind our school song will be at KCSMA on Friday, August 24th for our grand opening celebration! You won’t want to miss it! See below for a ticket order form!
