Here is a picture of the Robotic Rockets at the State FLL Competition, right outside the Georgia Tech student center at the fountain. We are so proud of them! And while we didn’t bring home a trophy this time, the students got to see what state-level competition is like. It was a great opportunity and accomplishment for them.

Congratulations KCSMA Award-Winning Lego Robotics Team!
We have two Lego robotics teams at KCSMA this year. We would like to acknowledge the Olympians team, who made significant contributions to the KCSMA robotics program. We are very proud of them!
We would also like to acknowledge the Robotic Rockets team. On Saturday January 12, 2013, they competed against 40 teams at the Super Regional Qualifier in Marietta. The kids received a perfect score in core values from two different judges. Even more impressive, they were nominated for three awards by both of the judges: the Inspiration Award, the Gracious Professionalism Award, and the Teamwork Award (which they won). On Saturday January 26, they will compete at the state level Lego robotics competition at Georgia Tech. We are very proud of them!
On behalf of Dr. Wagner, Ms. Ramsey and Ms. Bryant, we would like to extend special thanks to our parent coaches who worked with both teams: Julie Bishop, Melissa Beaulieu, Ed Loza and Paul Urfi.
